Free Venue Hire// What does that entail?

Most times we don't charge an outright hire fee for the venue. However, we do require a minimum bar tab. This covers the room of your choice, coat check, sound system, bar staff, security, a doorman to greet your guests and a duty manager to help your event go off without hassles.

We have a 7 days a week liquor license and functions generally go through till 2am.

Pinnacle Room Pinnacle Room

The larger art deco bar takes up to 250 guests, has a dance floor, a stage with sound system for your band, DJ or speeches plus its own bar. It is furnished with plenty of chairs and tables and you are free to decorate the room as you wish. If you need a hand with this we can help.

Lounge Bar Lounge Bar

The Lounge Bar is well set up for events of up to 80-90 people and has its own bar with pool table, bar leaners and sound system.

Where is it?
The Winchester is located at 24 St. Benedict's Street which runs parallel to Symonds St.
Is there parking?
The venue has a few parks of its own but is also flanked by two Tournament carparks with plenty of on street parking in the area so parking is a breeze. If you're not driving, taxis are just a call away.
How much does venue hire cost?
